Colin Hurst

Colin is the primary engine builder, having established Hurst Race Engines alongside John De Pasquale in 1978 at the iconic location of 51 Canterbury Road, Canterbury NSW. It is now located at Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway.

Colin knows his stuff, not only is he an expert in his field but he has the experience to back it up. He holds 4 consecutive National Titles in the Open Super class, 2 NSW State Titles for Open Super as well as many other wins. This expertise and experience has enabled Colin to propel many other drivers on to racing glory such as Neil McFayden/Tim Slade/Mark Winterbottom/Paul Laskazeski/Shannon Price and Jonathon Venter to name just a few.

John De Pasquale

John has been in the karting game since 1980 and is no slouch with his experience on the track either. He won 4 consecutive Bridgestone Kart Prix in Reed, at Oran Park, during the mid 1980's. Along with The Montara Cup at Newcastle, a NSW State Title in Class Australia and a 2nd & 3rd at the Nationals.
